Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are an NHS trust of around 8,000 people, providing care for the population of Gloucestershire and beyond.
We provide a wide range of specialist hospital services from our two main sites at Gloucestershire Royal and Cheltenham General Hospitals, as well as maternity services at Stroud Maternity Hospital. Trust staff also provide outpatient clinics and some surgery from community hospitals throughout Gloucestershire. We have ambitious plans for the future to help us achieve our vision of delivering the Best Care for Everyone.
Why have we joined ‘Working with’?
“One of the best shared decisions we have made so far is that we all collectively agreed to join the ‘Working with’ programme. As an organisation we support our nursing and midwifery colleagues to speak with confidence, understand their value and know that their contribution is appreciated.
“2020 has been a year like no other. We have been celebrating ‘International Year of the Nurse and Midwife’ and I’m delighted to announce that we will be working with Cavell Nurses’ Trust as part of our Professional Excellence Reward and Recognition Programme. The Cavell Star Awards will be enable us, and our patients, to very proudly show how much we value and care about our nursing and midwifery colleagues. Our teams will be able to nominate colleagues for going the extra mile, upholding the values of our Trust and for providing truly person centred care.”
