Croft Medical Centre is a large practice in North Solihull, West Midlands looking after over 11,500 patients. We have large team of Nurses. We are proactive in succession planning our workforce but more importantly supporting our Nurses to progress and become Mentor’s and Leaders.
Our GP’s have considerable respect for our Nursing teams, knowledge and abilities. Supporting us to become members of Cavell Nurses’ Trust’s ‘Working with’ programme. We are working together in this very difficult climate to meet the growing demands and expectations of our patients. We have Nurse led clinics for Chronic Disease management including a Nurse Led Cancer drop in service. Ensuring we provide the best level of care, but acknowledging the needs of both GP’s and Nurses by working collaboratively.
Becoming members of Cavell Nurses’ Trust’s ‘Working with’ programme has reinforced that we value and support our Nursing team. Our doctors, nurses and all our other staff are dedicated to offering a professional service to the local community.
Why have we joined ‘Working with’?
“I have been nursing for 35 years and have seen many wonderful nurses in different settings. I wanted to encourage our practice to become a ‘Working with’ member so we can support our nursing team and also recognise our nurses for the exceptional roles they play.”
